American Teddy Roosevelt Terrier Club's utmost duty to the breed, is to promote responsible and knowledgeable breeding. We recommend genetic testing with the leaders of DNA tests for canine breed health. Embark Dog DNA Tests use a research-grade DNA genotyping platform, a powerful tool for responsible dog breeders dedicated to healthy breeding programs. Embark identifies more than 175 genetic health conditions and traits in purebred and mixed breed dogs. Their test results are accepted by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for all conditions where the OFA has an established DNA registry.
